Office Hours:
By appointment only, please call 1-360-319-2315 seven days a week, to set up
an appointment or contact me at northcoastrv@msn.com.
I am the owner/operator and can be quite busy at times so if I don’t answer,
please leave a message and I will contact you as soon as possible.
Requirements:
All renters must be at least 25 years of age and have a valid US or
international drivers license, and supply proof of insurance for the vehicle
being used to tow the tent trailer. (Please bring a copy of your proof of
insurance).
Acceptable forms of payment:
Visa / Mastercard, money orders, traveler's checks and cash are all
acceptable forms of payment.
Reservations:
Please call well in advance to book your trailer; this is extremely
important in the peak of the season as these units book up early in the summer
months. A $100.00 non refundable deposit is required to book your unit and will
be applied to the cost of the rental. Please copy the reservation page and mail
it to us.
Security / cleaning deposit
A deposit of $400.00 will be required two weeks prior to the pick up date.
$250.00 of this is a damage deposit and the balance is a cleaning deposit. These
are both fully refundable providing the unit is returned undamaged, fully
stocked and as clean as it was when you picked it up.
Cancellations:
Cancellations made any time will forfeit the booking deposit, cancellations
made less than two weeks in advance will also forfeit $100.00 of the cleaning
deposit.
Pick up / Drop off:
Pick up's and drop off's are by appointment only, let me know when you
expect to pick up and return so I can be available to meet you. I prefer that
these times are between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday thru Friday. I
know that scheduling can be a problem, I will work with you. If you are local
and time permits, I can deliver and pick up at your residence.
Tow requirements:
Your tow vehicle must be equipped with a class 2 or a class 3 hitch,
capable of handling a 350# tongue weight and a
2" ball at approximately 16"-18” off the ground, when the vehicle is
sitting level. Bumper hitches on pick up trucks are usually acceptable if the
bumper is rated at 350 # and a receiver is firmly bolted to the bumper (balls
mounted through the bumper are not acceptable). Remember that the ball must be
located at the correct height. A 7 pin RV style wiring connector is
recommended as it will allow you to charge the trailer battery while you are
under way. This will allow you to keep the refrigerator operating.
For shorter trips, a 4 pin flat wiring connector will work. The
refrigerator will operate from the trailer’s battery, but will wear it down
quickly and it is not recommended that you operate it on propane while underway.
If you come without the
ability to safely tow the trailer with properly working lights, your reservation
will be treated as a cancellation.
Trailer rules:
No smoking is permitted inside the trailers, please go outside! Pets are ok
but please clean up after them, if there is evidence that a pet has been in the
trailer, and I have to clean up after them, you
will be charged accordingly. Cassette potties must be dumped and cleaned before
the trailer is returned; if I have to dump it and clean it, there will be a dump
charge of $100.00.
What is included:
We include a cassette pottie with chemicals, minimal cooking items
including 2 pans, frying pan, perk type coffee pot, silverware, potable water
hose, utility hose, and cooking utensils, a full propane tank and a fully
charged battery.
What to bring:
While the trailers are equipped with a small refrigerator, an ice chest is a
good idea. Sleeping bags or other bedding, towels and washcloths, toiletries,
lantern, paper towels, matches, barbeque, depending on the campsite, if no
hookups are available, a bucket and funnel for filling the water tank and
something to catch the outflow from the sink. we will send you a "take
along" list when we receive your rental application form.
